Portland, Oregon – Anti-racist activists compromised the nation’s largest neo-Nazi organization today, when they revealed the secret pornographic work of one of the most active leaders in the National Socialist Movement (NSM). In a statement released on the activist website Portland Indymedia, the anti-fascist group Portland Anti-Racist Action detailed the appearances of Oregon NSM organizer Corinna Luray Burt on several hardcore pornographic DVDs and websites. This revelation is expected to cause internal controversy within the NSM, a white supremacist organization that has recently been engaged in high-publicity armed patrols of the US-Mexico border.
The individual exposed by the anti-racists, Oregon resident Corinna Luray Burt, has travelled with other Oregon neo-Nazis to NSM demonstrations in Phoenix, Arizona and Los Angeles, California. The Portland Unit of the NSM has engaged in such activities as distributing racist flyers bashing Martin Luther King, Jr., as well as leafleting the area around a Northwest Portland synagogue with Holocaust-denial propaganda. Burt appears to have been the galvanizing force behind these and several other white power activities, and was promoted in rank within the NSM earlier this year as a result of her efforts.
Burt’s pornographic career includes five adult DVDs produced in 2006-2007, as well as numerous online appearances. Her most recent pornographic shoot appeared online in October 2009, while Burt was heavily involved with NSM activism.
The neo-Nazi movement generally perceives pornography as a Jewish plot to undermine white womanhood.
“We released the information about Burt today as a way of highlighting hypocrisy,” states Alicia of Portland Anti-Racist Action, “White power belief systems survive through hypocrisy and myth.”
